I recently had an idea of "Playerserver of the Week." Every week, the player server with the most votes would be added as a game mode for 1 week, and then the next week it would repeat. This would be good for popularity, fun, interesting, and it would add more competitiveness to the player server system.

I disagree with the idea due to the server that got the most votes are usually with gamemode such as genpvp or minepvp which players keep copy over other's ideas to get popular. If we help those servers to get bigger, no one will think up their own ideas anymore.

That's true but there should be SOME way to do this without any copies.
