You've all been there. Rushing the enemy and some rando walks into your base and breaks all your wool. Why was noone defending? Why are randoms so bad? Well, the real problem is that there is no point to defending. When you rush, you're not only having more fun, but also entering more pvp encounters. You're getting more than double the coins of a defender simply because you're closer to the action. If you sneak to their wool (which, since there are no defenders, is typically super easy) you can get up to 150 extra coins. Adding a passive coin/score gain or multiplier would make defending more rewarding, and would encourage people to coordinate rushes to break through the increased amount of defenders. Of course, this would have downsides, making games last longer and seeing an increase in afk players- but as kits and perks change, the game will be more satisfying overall
