I am currently on my last threads with this server and seeming as I am most likely not going to be accepted for any of the positions at this rate, I thought I would leave a quick little suggestion to the staff team: fix your application process. YES, I understand that some of you have lives that include going to school or work, but it really does not take nearly 3 months for a builder application to be accepted.
On numerous occasions, I have been told that "my application took 2 months before I got accepted" or "I can't be arsed writing a bible to respond to applications" from various staff members, but in my eyes.. that is extremely unacceptable. If this server wants to continue to grow, instead of being stuck at a server that is just full of shit playerservers and a community that consists of the same 50 players, changes need to be made. Other members of the community have said they waited 6 months for an application to be reviewed, which is absolutely unbelievable! If the same work ethic is used to reply to applications, then I don't even want to know how much this server actually gets done.
Applications should most definitely NOT take as long as they should, to reply to, otherwise the staff team really cannot be arsed to do their job. Personally, I do not know what the process is or how many people it takes to review an application, but the process has to be changed in order for people to be told whether their application is going be accepted or not, within a REASONABLE amount of time - not 3 months. If you are going to ignore suggestions, (like you do for most of them), then don't let it be this one. The current application process is pathetic and arduous; change it.

"I can't be arsed writing a bible to respond to applications": Your not wrong on that one, they simply don't even have the "time in their lifes" to write something out that is probably from a fucking template

All they have to do is read it, make a decision based upon what they have read, and then send that decision to the applicant. I don't know what is so hard? I remember in early 2020, I sent an application off, (not knowing I was a year off the minimum age), and MissChiko replied within a few days or so. What happened in the last year that has stopped that from happening now?

I just find it funny that a suggestion, or more like a criticism of the staff team, is clearly ignored by the owner. Why can't we actually get feedback from the staff team for once??

Well, a lot of staff members are losing motivation, people really don’t appreciate the staff team as much as they should, they don’t even get paid and they work for months. What do you expect? Of course they’re not gonna have the motivation to even check applications. It’s the sad truth and what’re you going to do about it? Criticize them for not handling one report thinking they’re robots and can handle every report? Of course not, they can’t without the motivation.

It ain't my problem if they aren't motivated? Maybe new ones need to replace the ones who aren't motivated? I don't know, but all I am saying is that it will not bode well for the server if the staff continue to work like this. Anyways, bye.

ok go ahead, try your best to become staff and be a staff member for a while, you can’t be arsed to read apps at that point lol, but I see where you’re going with this
