Infinite clocks should be banned (2 redstone torches or repeater loop) just because you almost always end up with cannons that are 99% auto because they have the ammo on an infinite clock while only the propelling tnt is on a manual switch. These cannons are basically autos because they have the same shooting frequency. Similar speeds cannot be achieved with cannons that are on a switch
where is the fun if the only option is to build the same kind of annoying cannon? The automatic semi-cannons are just bad because there are like three different types of them while there are much more options in the actual proper semi department.
You are just toxic because you heavily rely on them and can't change your playstyle.
Its been part of tntwars for a very long time and you can still launch tnt at nearly the same rate if you just use two levers (Ive tried) so banning them will have almost no impact at all other than getting a lot of hate from essentially every player that relies on semi auto to play.
I do agree that semi auto cannons can become repetitive but that’s essentially up to the person who’s playing. You can set your own limitations and play that way.
In the end I don’t think we will be banning clocks entirely. They’re just an essential part of tntwars and have been for a very long time. Its core gameplay so removing it will essentially ruin the entire idea of the game
I'm not against clocks. In fact I always use torch burnout, but that at least requires frequent input
Semi auto has a lot more to it than just flicking a lever twice a second ( even though that’s common belief ). Have you ever considered learning semi auto instead of immediately wanting to ban infinite clocks?
Im aware that for newbies it can be a huge pain to get killed over and over again by players using semi auto cannons but banning infinite clocks isn’t going to change the skill difference between a pro and a new player. You’ll still get destroyed, just using different methods.
the common example: Tnt on a stone button for propellant and ammo on an infinite burnout clock
I created my own design based on one used a long time ago and I've been happy with it. It's as semi as it can be
It will work sure but if you want proper control over when your tnt explodes, using a button or flicking a lever at a set interval isn’t going to work
