here's a list of events I'd like to see return sometime in the future, prize or not:
- Warzone/TNTWars/Bedwars Tournaments (solo/team event)
- Arcade/XRun Championships (whoever gets the most score wins)
- PlayerServer Competitions (the best playerserver wins)
- BuildOff 2.0 (the best build wins)

It’s actually a great idea for a player server gamejam tbh, we will see more fun servers on cubed and more ppl will be online

but I doubt everyone knows how to use Skript, especially the newbies
so this will probably be very unfair to them (unless it's a theme like custom SMP or spleef)

must be a rare chance of happening, but tbh imo it doesn't matter
They can take advantage of kitpvp and bedwars plugins etc.
I remember making skymining servers with command blocks! people nowadays using skript or prisonmines but I used to use 5 command blocks and it was far more efficient
But it doesn't matter tbh, skript is easy to learn anyway unlike java, anyone can create a server with skript if they just search through skripthub.com docs for the thing they are trying to do, and if they don't know how to skript then they should just focus on configuring plugins, which is easy but most cubed players don't attempt to do anyway.

also I never said Skript is unfair, but that the themes shouldn't only rely on it to work (e.g. generator servers, good luck doing that on time with command blocks or plugins)

You have never participated in a gamejam before have you? Themes are always supposed to be open with a lot of room for creativity, not something as shallow as a generator server or spleef.

Take the theme for the last gamejam I participated in, “Roll the dice.” This can be interpreted in many, many different ways. But it still connects all the unique takes on it.

Then my argument remains. If game jams ever get added to CubedCraft, Party's likely gonna pick one of the "shallow" themes.
