Add Bedrock (iOS, Android, Windows 10, XBOX & Switch) support to the entire network. This can be done by installing GeyserMC (https://geysermc.org/) on the proxy.
BENEFITS:
• This will open up an entire new potential player base for CubedCraft.
• This will allow you to compete more with other playerserver competition, as every other competitor allows this.
• This will allow current users of CubedCraft to have a better experience as they can now connect on more devices, allowing playerservers to expand too.
I cant think of any reasons why this would not be added. Plus, GeyserMC has great support and they'd be more than happy to help if you have any queries.
Unfortunately this wouldn't work (unless party removed playerservers which is not happening...)
I don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t work? The plugin converts bedrock packets to java packets to make it compatible. Have a look on their website it’s pretty interesting
It dosent work. Tried this with my own MC server and it's impossible to do it with PlayerServers without large modifications, and party would probably have to add basic bedrock server hosting.
You are just absolutely in the wrong. When you did it yourself, you most likely did it wrong. On another PlayerServers Network, we just used the default Geyser and it worked without fail. Partydragen would not need to modify anything to allow this to work.
I have used this before but..
I have realised if a server shuts down, then unless an IP that doesn’t change is set, which may be possible using the servers playerservers.com domain, then the IP which has been set by default by the plug-in, will change. If the server is restarting, it will stay the same.
Also, how would bungee cord know what edition of minecraft they’re on to put them on the specifically set IP address.
1. Your explanation makes 0 sense but ill try to answer with I think what is right.
you alway connect with the mc.playerservers.com or mc.cubedcraft.com domain (unless you use
mc.cubedcraft.com and x.playerservers.com are both different bungeecord networks.
I believe you have 0 clue what you are talking. If you look on the plugin page you can see that it has NOTHING to do with an IP. It modifies the packets sent from bedrock clients to be compatible with java packets. No IP gets touched or anything. The plugin is just a middleware between the server and the client.
Packets from bedrock and java are different. Thats how the plugin knows if its dealing with a bedrock or java client.
Why are people talking such bull here. It WORKS. Every other provider uses it and it's a trusted plugin, it works. You guys don't need to understand the complete technical side of it, but all you need to know is that it works.

The bedrock part would have a separate IP Address.
Ngl, gotta agree with what 1c7 said. This plugin is tried and proven on many servers + you can use the same IP just fine however I do believe you need a different port for bedrock default. No where does it say you need a different IP and you don't as I've seen it on the same IP.
